From a news on Polygamia.pl, it seems that the Polish distributor Cenega, left a "love letter" inside the box. Why is it ridiculous? Well... They advise you to play the game in English language. If it runs on Polish, they ask you to switch over to English since the translation isn't well made.

Huh. Wait, what?Let me roughly translate what's highlighted on the photograph:
Dear Client,It goes on later on how to switch to the English version.
The game "Star Trek The Video Game" has been finally prepared in an English language version. Nonetheless, after launching the game it might occur it is available in the Polish language version, which can contain errors. The product is marked as an English video game and that's the version we recommend you to play Star Trek The Video Game in.
Why is that warning there in the first place? Well, the game runs on Steam. The DVD with the game does not contain the Polish version. But Steam does! Why? Polygamia.pl asked Cenega on this particular topic. Their response?
Namco Bandai made no effort while making the translation.
Typos, stiff translation... I only glanced at a screenshot, but it looks half-assed.
Here's a rough translation of the statement:
Localization of the game prepared by the publisher did not meet our expectations in terms of quality, therefore we have decided to release the game in its original language. However, the publisher decided to put Polish language version on Steam, and this version can launch for the customers after installing the game. Therefore, since it is not the official Polish version of the game prepared by the distributor, we have included instructions in the box to change the language to English. There you go, a distributor rejected the Polish translations because it did not meet quality standards. Kind of a funny situation, but thanks Cenega for caring about your customers. It's kinda neat when companies look after their customers having the best experience.
